The SkiBIZ™ model is very flexible and could be expanded gradually. You could build your SkiBIZ™ as a stand alone training centre containing one or two slopes or go for an extended concept that includes a professional shop for ski equipment and a snack bar. It can also be integrated in an existing sport or fitness centre. We can support you with the planning and implementing of any alternatives at your choice.

Training

The core business of the SkiBIZ™ centre, with a potential to generate more than 6,000 ski lessons per slope within less than 200 operational days per year. The peak season is usually from October to March and the average number of skiers per lesson is 4.5 per hour. That means that the average income for one hour of operation is +/-100 euro per slope (based on applicable tariffs across Europe ) and more than 100,000 Euro per year.

Snack Bar

A little refreshment after intensive training, a drink while waiting for the kids or a friend.. A bar is an essential service to customers and the people accompanying them and it is also a good source of extra income.

Customers are already on site

Parties can be organized at the ski centre including the renting of the ski slope for a few hours. There are many ways to turn this service for your customers into another source of profit.

Ski Shop

Experience shows that most people prefer to arrive fully equipped to the mountain ski resorts and prefer to buy clothes, skis and boots in a shop where they feel confident regarding quality and prices. Receiving advice from a ski instructor who knows exactly what their needs are is very much appreciated. Thus every client of the ski training is a potential buyer of ski equipment and ski clothing.

Rental

The training centre attracts many first time skiers and beginners, who generally will rent equipment for their snow vacation. Experience shows that most people prefer to arrive fully equipped to the mountain ski resorts and prefer to rent skis and boots in a shop where they feel confident since they are receiving appropriate advice.

Maintenance

Skis need regular maintenance and should be treated every season for maximum performance. The presence of a workshop for maintenance and repair of fittings and skis (waxing, sharpening) increases the image of professionalism of the centre and will enhance the confidence of buyers and renters.
